Light-filled, large kitchen/dining room with double oven, large 5-burner hob, dishwasher and beautiful bi-fold doors, downstairs toilet, large lounge with multi-fuel stove, 4 double bedrooms, playroom with small double sofa-bed, bathroom with toilet, shower room with toilet. Utility room with washer and separate dryer. Very efficient gas central heating. Driving distance to the Lake District, Peak District or Snowdonia! Manchester has Victorian Gothic architecture, great theatres/museums, independent cinemas, great shopping including vintage shops and funky cafes.

About the location

In a delightful, peaceful, leafy suburb of South Manchester, 15 minutes walk through woods or Victorian botanic gardens (or regular streets if you prefer) to Didsbury where you will find independent shops, cafe-bars, pubs, restaurants. Award-winning cheese shop, excellent butcher and fish shop. Ten minutes walk to bus stop-frequent buses to the Universities and Manchester City Centre. 15 minutes walk to East Didsbury train station (12 minutes to city centre) and tram station just beyond that. Driving distance to the Lake District, Peak District or Snowdonia! Manchester city centre has Victorian Gothic architecture, great theatres, cinemas and museums, extensive shopping including vintage shops and funky cafes in the Northern Quarter. Excellent night-life and music scene. Also try Manchester's "curry mile", just a bus ride away. Do the Manchester United tour at Old Trafford football ground and then visit Salford's Lowry Theatre and Art gallery nearby or the Imperial War museum of the North. Train to London takes 2 hours from Stockport station.
