Lovely 2 Bed home in Toronto, Canada

We live in a spacious 2 bedroom plus den corner apartment on the top floor of a low rise building. It has a modern, fully equipped kitchen, and there is a washer and dryer in the unit. We have HD TV with 200+ channels and High Speed WiFi. There is underground parking. The building has a well equipped exercise room with his-and-her saunas.

Our building is located in a great neighbourhood and just about everything you may need is within walking distance while a 15 minute subway ride takes you downtown. High Park, a 200 acre park, is just half a block away. Bloor West Village with its many shops and restaurants is about a 10 minute walk.

We love living here because Toronto is a vibrant city with lots to see and do.

Theatre http://www.mirvish.com , concerts http://www.masseyhall.com , museums http://www.rom.on.ca , galleries http://www.ago.net , shopping http://www.torontoeatoncentre.com , and a great zoo http://www.torontozoo.com . Just to mention a few. There are many interesting neighbourhoods and districts to check out. For example, http://www.thedistillerydistrict.com and http://ebw.evergreen.ca . Our neighbourhood is very nicely described on this web site from 2004 http://units.sla.org/chapter/ctor/2005/bloorwest.asp and there are also links to other neighbourhoods worth a visit.

For the kids there is Canada?s Wonderland http://www.canadaswonderland.com just north of the city, and Centre Island http://www.toronto.ca/parks/island a short ferry ride away.

We have major league baseball http://toronto.bluejays.mlb.com/index.jsp?c_id=tor , the NBA http://www.nba.com/raptors , (ice) hockey http://mapleleafs.nhl.com/ and soccer (football) http://www.torontofc.ca/ .

Everything can be reached by excellent and inexpensive public transit.

Niagara Falls is about a 90 minute drive away, so is The Shakespeare Festival http://www.stratfordfestival.ca at Stratford as well as the Shaw Festival http://www.shawfest.com at beautiful Niagara on the Lake. Kingston and the Thousand Islands http://www.visit1000islands.com/visitorinfo/ are a bit further away but well worth the trip. And fall colours just north of the city at The Forks of the Credit. Lots to do!
