Spacious very English rural home near London

Harpenden is a small, safe, pretty and very British rural town only 20 miles from central London. It has excellent rail links to London and London Luton & Gatwick Airports, both offering cheap flights to many European destinations. Although a small town, there are 32 restaurants or pubs within walking distance of our house. Access to London is so easy 25 minutes to St Pancras International from Harpenden station which is within walking distance of our house. London is usually a daily must go destination but we are also only 5 miles from the Roman City of Verulamium, now called St Albans, and historic Luton Hoo, frequently visited by the late Princess Diana. We are 3 miles from the M1 motorway enabling easy access by car to Manchester, Scotland, Wales, in fact all UK land destinations, historic Oxford and Cambridge are both an hour away by car.
