Centrally located Thailand home - Real Thailand - easy proximity to tourist areas

New, high ceilinged home, bright and airy. Large windows and doors always open, enjoying this home and the tropical climate. Air conditioned throughout (important here in Thailand regardless of the time of year). Tiling throughout home and entire yard, with a tropical garden surrounding the home. Serene and peaceful patio living area. As with many Thailand homes, the climate is such that kitchens are often outside, adjacent to the patio. One can comfortably sit out in the patio at 2:00 to 3:00 in the middle of the night if you so choose, all year round.

Beach resorts and world-class city Bangkok within reasonable traveling distance (3-5 hours), from which it is nice to return to this peaceful home in non-touristy, real Thailand. World renowned Pattaya has a direct VIP daily bus link. We are North American (Canadian and USA) of European heritage (Holland) husband and es-schoolteacher Thai wife, I have a great comfort level in both North America and European cultures and locales. That may not be the case for those coming here to Thailand, Asia. Therefore we would do everything desired, to ease one's entry into this culture. If desired, we would pick you up at the Bangkok International Airport, and help you to acclimate to Bangkok and subsequently to our home location. We would depart a short time thereafter, unless of course, we are in a hospitality exchange.. Presumably, our familiarity with both North America and Europe would make our entry there quite easy.

Situated amongst rice fields, numerous Buddhist temples, and a variety of unique offerings from rubber plantations, pineapple, sugar cane and other varieties of agriculture too numerous to mention.

The "silk weaving village" is 10 minutes away and is a source of Thai silk at the manufacturing level, and priced accordingly. The place of gift buying for those back home.....Uniquely Thailand

Thailand could be considered "Asia-lite". It's friendliness and warmth to foreigners is pervasive. It is a comfortable Asian destination for westerners. Thailand can easily absorb all your vacation attention, plus it's proximity by short air-hops or scenic drives by vehicle to neighboring countries ranging from Malaysia, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Burma may be appealing.

We are fair-weather wimps, with easy living alternatives for us here in Thailand for those desiring non-simultaneous exchanges. In case those from the northern hemisphere who want to be here during their winters. Our retirement status maximizes flexibility.
