Our 3 bedroomed, 2 bathroomed detached modern house is centrally located for visiting England and Wales. Although only 30 minutes from Manchester and its international airport it is close to the Peak District National Park with wonderful walking country. Many National Trust properties are close at hand. London is 1hr 40 mins by train and the attractions of the Lake District, Stratford, Snowdonia and the North Wales coast, York and Chester are all within 2 hours drive.

Our house has 3 bedrooms, one ensuite, a family bathroom and a study upstairs. Downstairs there is a large kitchen/diner, a generous lounge and a lovely sunny orangery. Outside there is a small private garden, 2 patios and a barbeque.

About the location

Macclesfield is an old market town founded on the silk industry. Today it is primarily a commuter town for Greater Manchester. Situated some 10 minutes from the Peak District National Park there is easy access to some great walking, climbing and watersports activities. There are a number of golf courses close at hand, a leisure centre some 5 minutes from the house and the opportunity of cycling along leafy Cheshire lanes. The historic Macclesfield Canal runs through the centre of town and boats can be hired from the marina.
Manchester with its vibrant nightlife, theatres, museums, art galleries, stadia and renowned shopping is 30 minutes away by train.
