Lovely 3 Bed home in Tutzing, Germany

Our beautiful 3-bedroom apartment is on a very quiet street on the hill. It is a friendly place with lots of light and partial view to the lake and the mountains from our loggia. If you visit in the winter half year, you will witness magic sun rises over the lake and the mountains right from the master bed sometime between 6 and 8:30 a.m.
The bath and kitchen have just been renovated. We have an e-piano. In our library you will find many books in English and German and there are children's toys, bicycles, sledges and ice-skates for the whole family. Our home offers all the modern conveniences.

We live on Lake of Starnberg, 40 km south of Munich. The Lake Starnberg region was to 19th century Munich society what the Hudson River valley or Newport, R.I. was to New Yorkers. Many historic "cottages" and their gorgeous parks have been conserved and are public today.

Tutzing is the perfect starting point to explore the attractions of Munich and the Bavarian castles. It is a great place for families and travelers interested in art and culture. You can spend the whole day at the many charming beaches. There is a surf and sail school right in town. Or why not enjoy a day on the boat and end it with a good beer and local food at the local beer garden? Biergarten is an outdoors restaurant where you just have to buy your drink. People bring their own food and table cloths! This part of Bavaria is called "The most northern province of Italy". It is because the weather is often friendly and people really enjoy life. They love the sun and the outdoors!

Southern Bavaria is not only well known for its outdoors attractions - (the Bavarian Alps are great for hiking, skiing or touring) - but it is also rich in art and culture.

From our place you can be in the heart of Munich by train in 30 min. Munich is a bustling metropolis filled with modern flair and classic culture at the same time. It is also home to many castles, landmarks, and churches that will keep the fine arts lover, history buff, and anyone else busy for days, even weeks, trying to see them all.
