Our property is a quirky home originally built as the ballroom to the adjoining property, so has a 15 foot domed ceiling in the living area. It has a spiral staircase to the master bedroom ( so unsuitable for the infirm or toddlers)which has a dressing room and bathroom , with over-bath shower. An ordinary staircase leads downstairs to a further double en-suite bedroom (5' bed and shower room), a smaller double(4'6" bed) and a single bedroom with a shared bathroom. We have a very pretty garden with newly built summer house, water feature and decking area. There is plenty of garden furniture and barbeque. New for 2014 - a hot tub!!

The area is stunning, with lots of places to walk and enjoy the scenery and slightly slower pace of life in Devon. The locals are very friendly and there is a lovely art deco cinema and theatre within walking distance of our home, as is the beach and town.

We have 2 lovely cats, Ziggy and Pickle, who would need a little food and a little love!

About the location

We live in a beautiful part of Devon on the Jurassic coast. Sidmouth is a very chilled out place where the pace of life is a little slower and where people have time for each other. The countryside and coast are within a 10-15 minute walk from the house, so you could easily spend a break here and not even get the car out! It is also close to many other great towns and attractions and only 20 minutes in the car into the lovely county of Dorset.
