Lovely 3 Bed home in Cape Town, South Africa

Our home, where we have lived since 2000, is a double storey Edwardian townhouse. The house has a warm feel to it, partly because there is Oregon pine throughout, but it is also light and spacious. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs, 2 of which are en-suite and have double beds. The third is our 7 year old daughter's room with a single bed and a sleeper couch. The bedroom at the front of the house has a balcony with a view of Table Mountain. Downstairs the lounge leads into the spacious eat-in kitchen which leads out to a leafy courtyard. There's a large Syringa tree which provides much needed shade and this is where we eat most of our meals in the summer. There is also a study with a piano and fireplace.
The City Bowl is a residential part of Cape Town situated between the scoop of Table Mountain and the sea. We live in one of the best streets in the City Bowl. Our street has mostly Victorian and Edwardian homes in it and although within a few minutes walk of shops and restaurants, is very quiet. Around one corner is De Waal park where we walk our dog daily as do many other dog owners in the area. It's also the place you will see groups of nannies with babies and toddlers in the morning, picnic parties, celebrations and quite frequently a movie crew. At the other end of the street is the bustling Kloof Street with a wide selection of restaurants, delis and other speciality shops. There is also a library in Kloof Street. Cinemas, museums, art galleries are all within walking distance. The cable car is less than 10 minutes drive away and Camps Bay beach is about 10 minutes drive for our house.
