The balcony overlooks Dublin Bay with views right across the bay. Main bedroom has a queen size bed. Second bedroom/computer room is large enough for a single bed only. Very well equipped kitchen. Neighborhood is quiet and leafy. The apartment has high speed internet and satellite TV.

Blackrock is less than 5 miles from Dublin Center but has retained a separate village atmosphere with its restaurants, upscale fashion boutiques along with supermarket grocery shopping and a fair share of pubs. Being on the water and within a mile of Dun Laoghaire harbor it offers the opportunity for many leisure pursuits. These include sailing, scuba diving, biking, wind-surfing, swimming or just strolling along the harbor wall (it’s over a kilometer or nearly a mile long). The heritage village of Dalkey is also close by with its fifteenth century Medieval Towerhouse, tenth century Church & Graveyard and several ancient tiny harbors along with a vibrant Art scene. Dalkey was the home of Charles Bernard Shaw and continues to attract literary figures. Several best selling authors/playwrights including Mave Binchy and playwright Hugh Leonard live there today.
