Lovely 4 Bed home in Kas, Turkey

Our spacious penthouse is situated on the Kas peninsula and is uniquely located just 50meters from the Mediterranean Sea with beautiful views of the mountains and coastline. We have outside balconies, where you can sit and watch the sun setting behind the sea or enjoy an early breakfast with the sun rising over the mountain and watching the fishing boats and yachts.

Beautifully appointed, we have 200sqm of contemporary open plan living space consisting of four bedrooms and three bathrooms. There is a large shared pool, gardens and private beach platform with access to the sea. There is also parking.

Kas (pronounced 'Kash') is a picturesque small fishing village and harbour on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey it is ideally situated for a thoroughly comprehensive experience of everything that makes this part of the country so uniquely fascinating - from a wealth of history and culture to an abundance of breathtaking natural beauty. There are local markets and archaeological sites to explore as well as inland villages and walking the Lycian Way. Kas is surrounded by mountain landscapes, and spectacular bays of nearby Patara, Kekova and Demre.

A leisurely stroll around the town of Kas will reveal remains of ancient sites, and rock tombs not to mention the beautiful cobbled streets and Ottoman houses. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants to enjoy a midday mezze or a plate of hamsi after your explorations and a local market to stock up on your fruit and vegetables, not to mention the spices! Or you may want to take a boat out from the harbour and explore the coastline and swim in the bays near the islands. Whatever you decide to do, you will be met with warm hospitality by the locals and make good friends.

For the more adventurous you can enjoy scuba diving, paragliding, sea kayaking, hiking and mountain biking plus many other activities to fill your days.

The stunning Greek island of Meis is just 30minutes by ferry from Kas. It has its own unique history and beautiful walks. There are small hotels and B & Bs where you can stay a night or two if you want to get away from it all. You can also fly or catch the larger ferry from Meis which takes you to Rhodes where you can spend a few nights. However, the Mediterranean coast of Turkey has so much to offer you probably would not find the time!

Kas is an all year round destination with mild winters and hot summers. There are flights to Dalaman and Antalya throughout the year from Gatwick and Heathrow. There are flights from Bristol, Cardiff and Birmingham from end of March to end of October. Transfers are easily arranged and take approximately 2 hours from Dalaman and 3 hours from Antalya.
