Comfortable Devon cottage in easy reach of M5 with good bus service and all of Devon on your doorstep

My cottage is on the edge of a friendly village about 12 miles from Exeter. Up the hill from my house are wide views of open country.

The cottage is the end of an 18th Century row, renovated with central heating and woodburner. One main bedroom with double bed and a study (with comfortable single camp bed). Downstairs modern kitchen and sitting/dining room. Bathroom has shower & bath.

Small semi-secluded garden. Car parking space can be arranged. There are buses from here to Exeter every 20 mins. Less than 15 minutes drive to M5.

The village shop (which is also a post office) has all the basics; there are supermarkets about 3 miles away.

Lovely walking or cycling directly from my house, or visit Dartmoor (about 35 miles away) Exmoor (similar distance), whole of Devon easily accessible.

Because my house is small it's best suited to just one or two people.

About the location

If driving here, Bradninch is only 4 miles from the M5 (Junction 28).

If arriving by train, the nearest station - Tiverton Parkway - is 2 hours from Paddington. You can take a £12 taxi ride from Tiverton Parkway directly to my house, or continue on the train to Exeter and get a bus from there to Bradninch.

If you visit with a car you'll be able to explore more widely, but it's possible to do good country walks from my house, and the frequent bus service into Exeter allows you to connect with other buses to take you further afield.

I've done several very enjoyable swaps, some more than once, and if you want to hear from others I've swapped with I can put you in touch.

One final point, I only have a small flat screen TV, so if having a big TV is important to you this won't be ideal.
