looking form2016! Character English family home by the sussex sea and south downs for walkers/cyclists/families

Looking for our 5th happy exchange in 2016! Prefer seaside location in Med/S.Europe/Benelux or house with private or communal swimming pool - longer haul considered but need to book by September 20th 2015. 2017 also.

Our large comfy detached character house in Seaford is situated on a quiet road within 500 metres of a wonderful quiet, pebble beach and within 1 mile of amazing countryside Downland walks, golf courses and historic villages(Alfriston, East Dean). Best fish and chips for miles and glorious sunsets! The local town has good facilities and is a good base for walkers, cyclists, golfers and explorers. We are also a short walk from a main train line to nearby vibrant cosmopolitan city Brighton (30mins), and to London (90 mins) and also 15mins by bus to Eastbourne to allow you to explore this beautiful part of the country with arts, culture, history, good food and so much going for it.

Our character home is spacious, has a 30x20m garden and lots of living space and all modern facilities and equipment (BBQ, bikes, PC, Playstation, board games, air hockey, tennis rackets and plenty for younger kids). Great views of South Downs and peaceful area near beauty spots like Beachy Head, Cuckmere Haven, Ouse Valley, Friston Forest. Plenty of places to visit within an hours drive, Arundel to Hastings to Tunbridge Wells, but so much on the doorstep too. Recently renovated luxury modern bathrooms and ensuite, with jacuzzi bath etc. New garden room and lounge and kitchen spring 2016 also.Very homely and spacious.

There is something for everybody and we have loved living here these last 5 years -great for walkers and families, and close enough to London for easy daytrips, lots of galleries and National Trust properties nearby and great restaurants.

Seaside family area, great for seaside walks, cycling, hiking, country pubs and close to culture, arts and history. also easy access to Brighton and Eastbourne and London. Eastbourne airshow in august, plus lots of country fairs and summer events around Sussex.
