Our house sits on the very edge of the northern fringe of Dartmoor. Ten minutes walk will see you on the open moor and the summit of Yes Tor a mere forty minutes walk. Okehampton is an attractive former rural market town, marketed as the gateway to Dartmoor. The moor is on our door step and the rugged North Cornwall/Devon coast is an easy 40 minutes drive, for long lazy days at the beach when the weather is not so good on the moor.
