Lovely 3 Bed home in North Berwick, Scotland

Our lovely 3 bed detached bungalow is in the picturesque coastal town of North Berwick on the east coast of Scotland. We have excellent train/airport/road links to Edinburgh, approx. 40 mins.

North Berwick with it's harbour, has beautiful beaches, only a short 10 minute walk, along with local shops, restaurants and bars. Take a boat trip to the famous Bass Rock Seabird sanctuary and also see Fidra, the inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island. The whole area is filled with castles to explore, along with the famous Edinburgh Castle. There is also a local sports centre with public swimming pool and gym facilities closeby and tennis courts are available too. Many golf courses are nearby, including Muirfield which will be home to the 2012 British Open Golf Championship.

A beautiful location for exploring Scotlands countryside and beaches, as well as easy access to Englands border, only 1 hours drive, (see Harry Potter's Hogwarts, which was filmed at Alnwick Castle.), or why not hop on a train to Edinburgh and explore its amazing history and culture.

Our one level property has 2 double bedrooms, (1 with shower en-suite) and 1 single bedroom with an extra futon, so easily accomodating 6 people. Lounge with 46" tv, study, bathroom, kitchen, conservatory used as dining area overlooking garden. There is also a garage (but full of junk) and plenty of parking to the side of the property. The rear garden has a bbq and outdoor table/chairs for our lovely summer evenings.

Christmas/New Year in Scotland is indeed a magical time, what with our German Christmas Fayre and world renowned 'Hogmanay' festivities on Princes St., under the gaze of Edinburgh Castle. (Just a short train ride, so no worries on over imbibing!)

North Berwick is the jewel of East Lothian and the natives are friendly too!
