Homebush is a cosmopolitan area approx. 20 minutes by train from Sydney CBD, there are many good restaurants nearby as is the Olympic Centre with its attractions (aquatic centre etc), the famous and picturesque Blue Mountains are 30 minutes along the nearby freeway.
