Our home is located on the western edge of the lake district allowing for easy access to the valleys of Wasdale, Ennerdale and Eskdale.
The house has plenty of room having recently been extended and modernised.
The Irish Sea and the Isle of Man are visible from the back of the property with Scafell being seen from the front drive.
The village has two pleasant pubs/restaurants with one offering a village shop facility.
Five minutes drive away is Egremont with its castle and shops. For supermarkets its 20 minutes to Whitehaven.
With us being on the western side of the lakes it allows for the opportunity to walk and explore some of the less trodden paths of the lakes. By far the best fell walking in the county.
