Lovely 3 Bed home in Ocean Pines, USA

Ocean Pines is a residential resort community that is 5 min from the Atlantic Ocean. We offer 5 swimming pools, yacht club, 18-hole golf course, numerous tennis courts, etc., in Ocean Pines while Ocean City is a huge tourist mecca in the summer and only 5 min away.

Our house is a modern salt-box styled Cape Cod with 1st floor master suite (with private bath), king-sized bed, color TV. Two bedrooms upstairs, one with queen bed, the other with queen bed plus single bed and child's cot. Bath with shower adjoins.

The kitchen has been recently updated with all the modern conveniences. A small Florida room off the dining room is well equipped with games and puzzles and comfortable seating.

Outside we have a small garden, comfortable patio furniture and a grill for summer cooking and barbecues.

Ocean Pines was originally built as a retirement village, so many of the homes are occupied only part of the year. Still, its a diverse community and very child friendly. We have bike paths throughout the area, neighborhood restaurants, library, etc. A car is necessary, however.

Shopping at the Rehoboth malls are only 1/2 hour away (tax free shopping).

There are more than 30 golf courses within 45 minutes of Ocean Pines.

Assateague Island (where the wild ponies roam freely) is less than 1/2 hour away. Beautiful beach there...less crowded than Ocean City.

Visitors should use any of the airports surrounding Washington, DC (Reagan National, Dulles and Baltimore/Washington International). Our last London family spent time in DC having a look around there for a few days as well. From DC, its about a 2 1/2 hour drive to Ocean Pines.
