Sunny beach house in Bude, North Cornwall

5 minute walk to 3 amazing local Bude beaches. Our home is a very tranquil, sunny detatched house on a quiet road in Bude, a popular small tourist seaside town with a stunning rugged coastline, incredible surf and tidal sea pool.

A contemporary styled house with a large wrap around walled garden and sunny secluded patios. Bude has been voted many times as the top seaside town in the UK. We know why!

The garden catches the sun all day and perfect for BBQs or just relaxing with a glass of wine! There's an outdoor table tennis table and outside shower.

We`re also very happy to do a car swap too. We have done this before in Spain and it worked very well. There is driveway double parking and always parking on the road outside the house.

We are experienced exchangers (on this website since 2012) and are now looking for our 14th house exchange in 2026.

About the location

An excellent base for exploring North Cornwall and Devon, or just enjoying a fun beach holiday in Bude. The coastline and views are absolutely stunning and the local beaches are the perfect place to watch spectacular sunsets melting into the ocean! Bude has a sea pool which fills up naturally every day by the tide, a canal with lock gates to the sea and a castle built on sand! Bude is reknown for it`s amazing surfing and has produced some world class surfers as a result. Beaches are lifeguarded daily in summer and Bude is an ideal beach holiday.

Alongside the beach and incredible coastal walks there are so many activities on offer! Bude is built around its Links golf course and there's plenty of sports to try through our local Adventure Centres including kayaking, abseiling, mountain biking, climbing and surfing etc. There are two crazy golf courses, rowing boats to hire and heated indoor pool to name a few.

Our house is a short walk to the 3 local beaches, town centre, shops, great restaurants, and amenities in the small and unspoilt Cornish coastal town of Bude in North Cornwall.

Beautiful Cornish fishing villages are a short drive away and the Cornish cream teas deliciously fattening! Remember though it`s jam first and then cream. The other way around and you`ll be sent to Devon!

There`s loads to do for the energetic: outdoor adventure schools, surfing, walking, fishing and golfing etc. Day trips close by to Padstow, Port Isaac and The Eden Project to name a few. You`ll love it here!
