This is a lovely house situated in the popular village of Oughterard, seventeen miles from the city of Galway and on the brink of Connemara with its beautiful beaches on a pristine Atlantic ocean surrounded by mountainous breathtaking scenery.
The house has three double bedrooms, two bathrooms both with power showers, a modern newly fitted kitchen, cozy and comfortable sitting room with a log burner, a sunroom, dining room and utility room all tastefully decorated.
The beautifully maintained gardens run down to the Owenriff river where you can hire boats & engines to take you out to Lough Corrib (the biggest lake in Ireland) for pleasure or fishing. Or sit in the garden after a day trekking in Connemara, in the lovely garden and watch the sun set with a glass of wine.
The village ( within two minutes walk of the house ) contains two supermarkets, two butchers ,fantastic bakery & deli, cafes , pubs & restaurants. There are bus services into Galway & Cliften. We also have a golf course and riding facilities nearby.
This is a perfect location for exploring the West coast of Ireland. The locals are friendly the Guinness is sublime and you will be delighted you choose to stay here.
