Lovely 2 Bed home in Oxford, England

Stay in a peaceful, friendly village only 15 minutes by frequent bus from Oxford's lively city centre.

There's a local shop and Sunday farmers' market and Summertown, 10 minutes' walk away, offers excellent shops, cafes, sports facilities and The North Wall arts centre.

The house has been completely done up and is warm, comfortable and well-equipped. There is one double and one single bedroom and a double sofa bed in the living room. (Interior pics available on request.)

The garden is large and south-west facing and there are lovely views from the rear windows over allotments, a canal, and the cows and horses grazing on Port Meadow, an ancient common and one of Oxford's best-loved beauty spots (pics 3 & 4). Great river walks and pubs, including The Trout and The Perch.

From our house you can also see the route of the famous 1862 boat trip during which Lewis Carroll first told Alice Liddell the story of 'Alice in Wonderland', and Binsey Poplars, immortalised in the poem by Gerard Manley Hopkins.
