Our home is on a quiet road with views to the front over a green park and the Blackwater estuary, beyond which is open countryside. We are a short walk to the centre of Maldon, a historic market town granted its royal charter in the 12C, with shops and restaurants and many old buildings. Also close to Hythe Quay, home to the famous Thames sailing barges and a good pub, where at high tide you are at the seaside. We are within easy reach of London by train from nearby Witham station and Cambridge and the east coast by car. It is a good location to return to after days out seeing the sights. Our neighbours are friendly and helpful.

The house was recently rebuilt to a high specification. It has two living rooms, a dining room, kitchen,utility room, bathroom and two bedrooms on the ground floor. A very large master bedroom with its own bathroom and another bedroom with its own shower room on the first floor. All appliances are up to date and in good order. Outside there are two south facing patios and a garden with lawn and flower beds.
