Mossman Gorge

We live in a open plan tropical timber Queensland style stilt home set in wild rainforest grounds with views across the valley to Daintree national park.

Our home has 6 air conditioned bedrooms, 3 with ensuite bathrooms, indoor and outdoor lounge areas, indoor and outdoor dining areas, bbq area, garden dining area, we have a salt water swimming pool and are just minutes from the rainforest pools of Mossman gorge national park.

Our home is timber clad, has polished timber floors, vaulted ceilings and has timber french doors opening onto two verandahs, one over looking the pool, the other overlooking the valley and Daintree national park.

We have wifi internet, playstation 2, wii and satellite television, an extensive library of both non-fiction and fiction books, binoculars and lots and lots of board games.

Mossman just a couple minutes from the house has all the normal small town conveniences supermarket, banks, bakery, newsagent, post office and restaurants and cafes.

Port Douglas with restaurants, boutiques and its magnificant beach is 15 minutes to the south, Cairns and it's international airport one hour south and Cape Tribulation with it's secluded beaches and ancient rainforests about one hour to the north.

Some of the best diving and snorkeling on the barrier reef is off the coast here and Reef trips depart from Port Douglas each day.

Beaches and swimming holes are just minutes away.

About the location

We live in a beautiful part of Far North Queensland, with Daintree national park and the Great Barrier Reef on our doorstep.
