Lovely 3 Bed home in Girvan, Scotland

Victorian terraced house in seaside town, 45 minutes from Glasgow Prestwick Airport and 1hour 15 minutes from Glasgow International Airport. Large sitting room with original ornate cornicing and a coal fire, dining room, dining kitchen, bar cum family room (x-box, wii, ps2, tv, dvd, football table), 3 bedrooms (one of the bedrooms is small and would suit a child up to 12 years old). The family room also has a futon which sleeps 2. We have an 11 year old Westie but if you would prefer not to look after him that is not a problem.

We are 5 miles from the world-famous Turnberry Hotel which has 3 golf courses, 2 of them championships, and 20 miles from the towns of Ayr and Prestwick with even more golf courses. Ayrshire is also Burns Country. There is a train service from the town to Glasgow where you can spend a day visiting the museums, art galleries, shops and theatres; also train service to Ardrossan which provides ferry service to the Isle of Arran. 45 minutes drive in the opposite direction takes you to the ferry terminal at Cairnryan from which you can take a day trip to Belfast in Northern Ireland. Very picturesque area with many tourist attractions, sea and river fishing, national trust properties, good for walking - we are approximately 45 minutes from Galloway Forest Park which is excellent for walking and hillwalking.
