Lovely 4 Bed home in Bletchingley, England

The Old Coach House is hidden away down a delightfully quiet lane in the pretty village of Bletchingley in Surrey. A great location for exploring the South-East being midway between London and Brighton, and 4 miles from the train at Redhill which has an excellent service into London (25 mins)and Brighton(35 mins).

Although Redhill is our closest town, we tend to gravitate to Reigate, 5 miles away, where there are boutiques, cafes, good restaurants, a cinema and Priory Park. Bletchingley itself has a few antique shops, a post office, an ancient Norman church and no less than five pubs and a scrumptious tearoom.

The house is located on the long distance footpath The Greensand Way, and is well positioned for exploring the delights of The Surrey Hills area and surrounding countryside. We're also blessed with an array of historic houses and gardens within an easy drive including Polesden Lacey, Wakehurst Place, Nymans, Sheffield Park, and Hampton Court.

The house, built in 1840's, is spacious and light. We've restored and updated it to a high standard over the past four years. We have three double bedrooms (2 with an ensuite) and a twin bedroom. At a pinch the house could sleep 10 as there is a sofa-bed downstairs. There is a huge lounge with wood burning stove and piano, and an equally large kitchen/diner with a dining table that seats 6-8. (There is also a study cum junk room which we've yet to decorate!)

The garden is south-facing and makes a lovely spot to sit out and enjoy a drink in the summer.
