Kendal is a small picturesque market town on edge of the Lake District; a beautiful area of mountains and lakes with extensive walking. There is an active arts centre, and many restaurants. Easy access to Yorkshire Dales, 1.5 hours from Manchester, Liverpool and Scottish borders by car or train.

Our home is situated near the edge of town overlooking countryside, yet is only 10 minutes walk from the town centre. It is a 1970s property (approx 1300 sq ft). On the ground floor is a sitting room, a dining kitchen, bathroom, small piano room/cloakroom, master bedroom and morning room/4th bedroom; on the 1st floor are a shower room and two large rooms each 18ft x 14ft: one a family bedroom, and the other a study/bedroom.
