Lovely 5 Bed home in Saltburn-by-the-sea, England
Our house is an old stone cottage with beamed ceilings in a quiet village, with a pub, about 2 miles from the sea. We have some land and a barn and grow our own vegetables and keep hens and sometimes pigs.
We are about 7 miles from Whitby, which is a very pretty and popular seaside town famous for its abbey on the cliff, quaint streets and its fish and chips. We are also close to the pretty fishing villages of Runswick Bay and Staithes and lovely cliff top walks.
We are in the North York Moors National Park with its wild open moorlands, purple with heather in August, rivers, valleys and picturesque villages and many wonderful walks. It is also possible to do day trips to York, Durham and Newcastle.
