Youghal is a beautiful historic port on the south coast of Ireland. It is a small town with charcater and lots of history to explore.
We live just a 4 minute drive from the local blue flag beach which is ideal for long walks, swimming and kite-boarding. There is also a lovely indoor swimming pool near the beach. Youghal also boasts a great pitch and putt course,scenic golf course and 10 pin bowling alley. This is a beautiful area to explore with many good beaches, a castle in nearby Lismore and Round Tower in nearby Ardmore.
We are just 45 minutes from Cork city - for good shopping and more history. Fota Wildlife Park is 30 minutes away.
