Lovely 2 Bed home in Talará, Spain
The house is modern, situated in the lower part of Chite, in the Lecrín Valley and is adjacent to the church and church square. The valley is renowned for its oranges, lemons, figs, olives and almond trees. The valley is at its best in the spring with all the flowers in bloom. Sierra Nevada, mountain and skiing resort, is one hours drive north from the house and 15 minutes to the south is the Costa Tropical.
Over the summer months, the villages in the valley hold their own fiesta where the patron saint is celebrated with processions, dancing and singing.
Granada was the last stronghold of the Moorish kings and Andalucia has a rich mix of their influence which can be found in cooking, building and tiling. The village of Chite is full of this influence.
