Lovely renovated Victorian cottage on an idyllic lane that leads down to a beautiful stretch of the River Thames. There is a knocked-through main living and dining room, an aga in the kitchen, and two bedrooms upstairs, one of which opens onto a large and very sunny roof terrace. The newly fitted bathroom is downstairs.
The local environment is very peaceful, with hardly any traffic and no parking on the very small road outside. It is a 2 minute walk to the river, and we are surrounded by parks, trees and open space. Historic Eel Pie Island is a few minutes walk away.
Central London is easily accessible, Waterloo being only a 20 minute journey from Twickenham station, itself a 10 minute walk from the cottage.
