Walk one way and you're in the lively High Street; walk the other way and you find yourself meandering along the ancient river Itchen. Within five minutes walk of centre of Winchester, the ancient capital of England, with its world-famous cathedral, historic sites, excellent shops and restaurants. London is one hour by train, and the house is a 15 minute walk from the station.

The house has a small flower-filled garden, and though central is on a quiet one-way street. We are a stone's throw from the water meadows where Keats composed "Ode to Autumn."
