Canterbury apartment

Our apartment is within a fabulous Victorian secluded/gated conversion. There are 12 apartments within the complex. There are well kept communal gardens - that we regularly use in the summer months for BBQ`s, our son`s birthday party and entertaining our friends. A car exchange is also a possibility. The apartment has 3 double bedrooms (one of which is in our basement/ one bedroom has an en-suite) We have a large living area- including a kitchen diner. Although we are situated walking distance from the city (5 mins walking distance from the city walls)-we are in the heart of Kent. Canterbury is a relatively small city and it is surrounded by breathtaking countryside. (Kent is known as the `Garden of England`) It is also a stones throw from fabulous and historic seaside towns- whitsable, Tankerton and Deal, being among our favourites! We are also a very short distance from the channel tunnel, Eurostar and of course the Dover port. all of which offer a fast route to France. Canterbury also has the advantage of being relatively close to London. A new `high speedrail link opened at Christmas 2009, meaning that we can now be in central London- St. Pancras- Kings Cross in 50 minutes.

However, the real pleasure in coming to canterbury is exploring Canterbury itself, (we are a 10 minute walk from the cathedral) the magnificent surrounding Kent countryside and the wonderful coastal walks. My family and I have lived in canterbury for 3 years and we absolutely love it!!

Our apartment is very large - we have said that it sleeps 6- but there is definitely scope for more than 6 if necessary.
