You could also treat yourself to a trip on the brilliant-white cruise boats which daily criss-cross Lake Saimaa. Don't forget to save some time to visit the Saimaa Canal: choose from a short cruise to Mustola for a couple of hours, or else indulge in a longer trip (43 km) all the way to Vyborg, Russia or to St. Petersburg (180 km).
