Napier is known as an Art Deco treasure, it was completely rebuilt in that style after an earthquake in 1930. Becuase it attracts lots of tourists the area has lots of facilities for them - lots of cafes, restaurants & bars, museum, national aquarium etc. The house is 5 minutes walk from a safe swimmimg beach and has a sea view. Safe, enclosed garden with a hot tub (also with sea views). The area is know for wine growing and orchards so the food culture is huge. 40+ wineries locally, many with excellent restaurants attached.
