Our house is situated in the Rosemount area of Blairgowrie, directly opposite the prestigious Rosemount and Landsdowne Golf Club. From a golfer's perspective Carnoustie, Gleneagles and St Andrew's are all 30 miles or less away and there are a great many other golf courses closer by. Blairgowrie has the full range of shops for all your everyday needs, including several large supermarkets. The immediate countryside is semi rural with mostly detached properties with stables/paddocks. There are a large number of walks possible from the house and slightly further afield we are a short car journey from the Angus Glens, Glenshee and the Cairngorm National park.

Our location is truly central to all the large cities and towns in Scotland. We are 20 minutes (15 miles) from Perth, 25 minutes (18 miles) from Dundee, 1 hour (55 miles) from Edinburgh, 1 hour 10 mins (65 miles) from Glasgow, 1 hour 15 mins (70 miles) from Aberdeen and just under 2 hours from Inverness. Public transport is very good and there are train facilities at Perth and Dundee and four airports within 90 mins, three of which have regular cheap flights to most European destinations and beyond.

On our doorstep we are on the fringe of the Scottish Highlands and there is easy access to some of the most beautiful countryside in Scotland, with an abundance of tourist facilities and things to do. There are a number of high quality restaurants within half an hour of our house, several theatres, recreation and cinema complexes.
