We live in a large family house with 4 big bedrooms - all with double beds). We have a front/ back garden with space for outdoor eating and children's play. We are near two large parks for tennis, cycling, etc.
Brighton city centre is 10 mins by bus/taxi or a 20 min walk, with many attractions, including the Royal Pavilion, museums, theatres, live music, night clubs, street cafes, shopping and restaurants to suit all tastes. The beach/promenade has wind & kite surfing, sailing, fishing, swimming. Inland the South Downs offers walking, riding, para-gliding, golf, and good country pubs.
Day trips to London are easy - 50 min by train. Gatwick airport and Newhaven Ferry port are nearby.
