Our apartment is in the heart of Alderley Edge in Cheshire's Golden Triangle. The village is home to more millionaire's per square mile than anywhere in Britain. Sports stars and celebrities are amongst the residents.
The Edge is a 500ft sandstone escarpment made famous in the novel Weirdstone of Brasingaman. It is riddled with country trails leading to quaint villages and pubs.
The village is vibrant and sophisticated with many top quality restaurants and bars. Yet within minutes you can be in open countryside feeling a million miles from anywhere.
We are 30 minutes from Manchester, 2 hours from London and just over an hour from the Lake Disrict, within easy reach of the dales.
