Our Basque-style home in the Nantes urban area

Our home is an atypical Basque-style house set in a green environment. Split over two floors, the house has four bedrooms, three on the first floor and one on the ground floor. The living and dining room opens out onto the large garden at the rear. The kitchen and office are at the front of the house. There is a jacuzzi, we have bicycles, and there is a workout area with weights you can also use. We have broadband, TV, and there is space to park on the property.

About the location

Saint Sébastien sur Loire is a town that abuts Nantes. With a population of 28,000, it has its own village character in the town centre, with its church and weekly market, but it only 2km away from the centre of Nantes, which offers you a pedestrianised city centre with its shops and cafés, restaurants, the Machines de l'Ile, with mechanised elephant, its museums, and everything you would expect from city life in France.

St Sébastien is also on the Loire, and it has its own island parks, set on the river. It also connects to the Loire a Vélo (Eurovélo 6) route, along the Loire. The Muscadet wine region is also just a few minutes away, so you can try local wines, and visit the vineyards. The Atlantic Ocean coast is 45 minutes away by car (you can also get the train or a bus), where there are many beaches.

There is a bus service, which is just 5 minutes' walk from the house, and a supermarket also 5 minutes' walk away. We have two boulangeries either side of the house, where you can buy your fresh bread and bakeries every day.
