Central house with large terrace overlooking the sea

Our house, 115 meters plus 35 m of terrace, is a very pleasant, comfortable and cared space that allows us to enjoy the time we are in it in peace. Our house is on the top floor of a building from approximately 1900 in the Ensanche of the Old Town of San Sebastián. We did a comprehensive work last year and left a large open space, which brings together the entrance hall, the living room, the dining room, the kitchen and the terrace. This distribution is very comfortable and allows us to use and enjoy all this space on a daily basis. In summer we continually use the terrace, which has beautiful views of the sea and has an awning that protects us from the morning sun.

For the reform we used demolition materials that were in keeping with the construction period of the house, combined with other modern materials.

We have two rooms, each one with a 160 cm bed and a full bathroom. The house also has a service bathroom, without a shower, and a small work office.


Nuestro casa, de 115 metros más 35 m de terraza, es un espacio muy agradable, cómodo y cuidado que nos permite disfrutar en tranquilidad del tiempo que estamos en ella. Nuestra vivienda está en el último piso de un edificio de aproximadamente 1900 en el Ensanche de la Parte Vieja de San Sebastián. Hicimos una obra integral el año pasado y dejamos un gran espacio abierto, que reúne el hall de entrada, el salón, el comedor, la cocina y la terraza. Esta distribución es muy cómoda y nos permite utilizar y disfrutar todo este espacio de forma cotidiana. En verano utilizamos continuamente la terraza, que tiene unas vistas preciosas al mar y dispone de un toldo que nos protege del sol de la mañana.

Para la reforma utilizamos materiales de derribo que se ajustaban a la época de construcción de la casa, combinados con otros materiales modernos.

Tenemos dos habitaciones, cada una de ellas con una cama de 160 cm y un baño completo incorporado. La casa tiene, además, un baño de servicio, sin ducha, y un pequeño despacho de trabajo.

About the location

We are located right next to the most typical area of the city, with its bars and restaurants, but we don`t have any nearby, so our house is very calm and quiet. La Bretxa market is a two-minute walk away.

Behind our building are the San Telmo Museum, the San Vicente Church and the best cinemas in the city. And walking we can reach the two great beaches of San Sebastián in 5 minutes, La Concha and Zurriola. Next to the house are Mount Urgull and Paseo Nuevo, two of the most beautiful and pleasant promenades in the city. In 10 minutes walking you can reach the main shopping area of the city.

San Sebastián is a perfect city to visit and enjoy on foot, and our house is in a perfect place for this. It is well known in the north of Spain for its beauty, its beaches, its gastronomy and its cultural and leisure activities. In July the International Jazz Festival is held, the most important in Spain (www.jazzaldia.com), in August the Musical Fortnight and in September the International Film Festival. San Sebastián is also known worldwide for its sports-oriented lifestyle: surfing, trekking, tennis, golf, sailing, etc.

In 20 minutes by car you reach France (Biarritz, Bayonne) and in 1 hour Bilbao, where you can visit the Guggenheim Museum.


Estamos situados justo al lado de la zona más típica de la ciudad, con sus bares y restaurantes, pero no tenemos ninguno cerca, por lo que nuestra casa es muy tranquila y silenciosa. El mercado de La Bretxa está a dos minutos andando.

Detrás de nuestro edificio están el Museo San Telmo, la iglesia de San Vicente y los mejores cines de la ciudad. Y andando podemos llegar a las dos grandes playas de San Sebastián en 5 minutos, La Concha y Zurriola. Al lado de casa están el monte Urgull y el Paseo Nuevo, dos de los espacios de paseo más bonitos y agradables de la ciudad. En 10 minutos andando se llega a la principal zona comercial de la ciudad.

San Sebastián es una ciudad perfecta para visitarla y disfrutarla andando, y nuestra casa está en un sitio perfecto para esto. Es muy conocida en el norte de España por su belleza, sus playas, su gastronomía y sus actividades culturales y de ocio. En julio se celebra el Festival Internacional de Jazz, el más importante de España (www.jazzaldia.com), en agosto la Quincena Musical y en septiembre el Festival Internacional de Cine. San Sebastián es también mundialmente conocida por su estilo de vida orientado al deporte: surf, treeking, tenis, golf, vela, etc.

En 20 minutos en coche se llega a Francia (Biarritz, Bayona) y en 1 hora a Bilbao, donde se puede visitar el Museo de Guggenheim.
