Lovely 4 Bed home in Newcastle Emlyn , U.K., Wales

Our home is a newly built four bedroom property situated in a rural village in Ceredigion, only six miles from the beautiful Ceredigion coastline. The local area offers numerous opportunities for walking, cycling, fishing and all other water sports.

Our nearest coastal village is Llangrannog, where you can join the Ceredigion coastal path and continue on to the Pembrokeshire coastal path towards St.Davids, which is the smallest City in the U.K. and boasts a wonderful Cathedral.

Our nearest large towns are Carmarthen and the University town of Aberystwyth, which are some 20 and 25 miles respectively. The local towns of Newcastle Emlyn and Llandysul provide more basic shopping facilities and are both approx. five miles away. New Quay is situated some 10 miles from our home and is a lovely old fishing village where you can regularly see dolphins, porpoise and seals. It also has historical interest as the famous playwright Dylan Thomas spent a number of years living in the village and wrote some of his most famousa works whilst residing there.

The nearest shop / Pub / Restaurant is only two miles away, and the location of our home really is the best of both worlds, with easy access to the coastline, and as a good base to explore Mid and North Wales.

Ferry services to Ireland are available from either Swansea to Cork, or Fishguard to Rosslare.
