We live in a large Victorian building which used to be a pub but which we have converted into two large, airy flats. The one we are offering you is on the first floor and has a very large kitchen and adjoining sitting room with French windows opening on to balconies overlooking a cobbled square in the middle of historic houses and with trees and greenery.

There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and probably if needed we could supply another double in the other room.

There are two bathrooms. The apartment has high ceilings, parquet wood floors throughout and is modern in design and renovated a few years ago. Obviously if this is of interest we can send photos.

We are situated in the heart of Islington, North London - currently regarded as an achingly trendy area! We love it because it's like living in a small town as you can get everything you need within walking distance (including great cappuccinos), and there is an extremely good local theatre just across the road, and two good cinemas. But getting to the West End for shows etc. takes just half an hour on bus or less on the tube. There are restaurants from very reasonable to pretty classy, all within easy walking distance of the apartment.

The large Hampstead Heath is lovely for walks and just half an hour away. There is a 28 acre green within walking distance.

You can reach several mainline stations, for going out of London, very simply.
