Modern spacious uncluttered house on edge of Scalloway village & approx 8 miles from Lerwick, capital of the Shetland Isles. Main rooms have fantastic views to Atlantic Ocean.

Village has small leisure centre which is 5 mins walk from house. Ruined castle, harbour, basic amenities all within 10 mins walk. Reliable but infrequent bus service to Lerwick for more choice of amenities, superb leisure centre & museum. Shetland has magnificent scenery and is particularly noted for its seabirds, archeology & lack of crime. Although the weather can be wild, in summer 2008 it was the 2nd sunniest place in the UK!
