We are in the heart of Hayfield village in a 180 year old house overlooking the cricket green. Our family house is on 4 levels and retains much character. Amazing views of Kinder Scout mountain and surrounding Peak district countryside.
Manchester 12 miles. Liverpool 40miles. Buxton 10 miles. Many stately homes (eg/ Chatsworth, Lyme Park, Tatton Park) and unspoilt villages to visit (many have been used for historic films and television dramas, eg Pride and Prejudice). Hayfield has a couple of local shops and there are several country pubs all serving great food. Abundance of local walks. Good train and bus services so car not essential but makes life easier. Perfect place for walking, cycling, climbing. World famous caves nearby.
