Lovely 6+ Bed home in Bristol, England
We live in a five floor stone terraced house, built in 1800, with a great many stairs. The accommodation is spacious and gracious, but not modern! We have no dishwasher, and no tumble drier, and our cooker is rather old... The shared garden, of half a hectare, has woods and grass to play on.
The hilly city of Bristol is all around us. Within 200m are shops and restaurants. Within 2 miles/3km are the harbour, lots of museums, a zoo and some lovely walks and views. To enjoy it fully you need to be willing to walk a fair amount - up and down hills - as the local public transport is not that good.
Within easy drive are Bath, lovely scenery in the Mendip Hills/Cheddar Gorge, and some impressive English country houses and parks.
