Darwin is a multicultural tropical city with an outdoor easy-going flavour. Beaches, markets, fishing and National Parks (including Kakadu) are nearby, as is the main shopping centre. Dec-Jan is the peak of the Wet Season, with spectacular rains in the late afternoon. Temperature ranges 22-32C.
Our house is a classic Darwin elevated home situated in the northern suburbs. There are 3 bedrooms, kitchen and living area upstairs, plus large bedroom and swimming pool downstairs. Bikes are available, and we would consider a car swap. Our 4WD would enable you to visit Kakadu, Litchfield and Nitmiluk National Parks, all 2-4 hours drive away. We have a friendly cat which would require feeding (we'd provide food of course).
