Design of our house.

Our home is a modern comfortable three / four bedroom two story Tuscan style house with a large downstairs open plan living area with adjoining kitchen and dining area. Adjacent is the laundry, bathroom, separate toilet and a double bedroom. Other than the bedroom the ground flooring is Italian tiles with rugs. The living area opens onto a roofed semi enclosed patio area, equipped with an out door setting and gas BBQ, and an enclosed garden.

A curved stairway adjacent to the front door leads to the master bed room with en-suite bathroom (with spa), walk-in wardrobe/dressing room, a large carpeted lounge with adjoining small kitchenette, a retreat / bedroom with en suite. The lounge opens onto and an enclosed balcony, suitable for entertaining, with views across the river to the city skyline approx 10 kms away and the Darling Ranges to the east.

The kitchen is large with granite bench tops throughout and is equipped with modern appliances and a walk in pantry. A ducted vacuum system is installed through the house and the two car garage is fitted with a remote controlled door. The fourth bedroom is used as an office

Our Neighbourhood

Situated seven kilometres from the Port of Fremantle and about fifteen minutes by road from the Perth CBD, Attadale is a garden suburb located on the southern bank of the Swan River. It is a quiet community minded neighbourhood. There are three supermarket shopping areas within a two/three km radius and a major shopping precinct about three kms. We are about 150 m from a bus stop and almost diagonally opposite Santa Maria Girls College. A State Primary school is less than one kilometre. A public golf course and tennis courts are two streets away. A wide range of restaurants and eateries are located within a few kms radius along with nightclubs and movie theatres. Located on an elevated site we are 500m from the river which provides a great setting for walks along constructed walk/cycle ways. Riverside playground, swimming, boating, picnic area and restaurant / cafe facilities are available at Point Walter less than a kilometre away. Anglican, Baptist and Roman Catholic Churches are within the area.
