Our home is in the area known as the West Island of Montreal. It is a lovely, treed, residential area with many parks and bike
paths, near the Lake St. Louis. It is situated 10 mins west of the airport and approximately 20 mins west of downtown Montreal by car. In the immediate area you can discover an ecomuseum, an arboretum and the quaint shopping and dining spots in Pointe Claire and Ste. Anne de Bellevue. Of course all of Montreal's most exciting attractions such as the Old Port and underground city are just a short drive away. The summer offerings are numerous; festivals, concerts and the many outdoor cafes. We are also a 2-hour drive from Ottawa, the nation's capital and 3 hours to Quebec City (provincial capital).
