Lovely 3 Bed home in Gerringong, Australia

Our Home: It is seven years old and is built on three levels. On the first has a double garage, family room, toilet and laundry. The main level has a formal lounge, kitchen and dining area. Upstairs we have three bedrooms, a main bathroom and a separate toilet. The main bedroom has a queen sized bed, as also the second bedroom. The third bedroom is used as a study and has a computer with broadband internet access.. Attached to the main bedroom is an en suite and toilet, together with a built in wardrobe. This room also has a large balcony with sweeping views of the coast and surrounding area. It is a great place to have breakfast and other meals.

The garden is almost flat and is quite spacious, surrounded by Australian native bushes and some citrus trees. There is also a garden patio with tables and chairs. In summer there is plenty of shade and it is a delightful place to entertain friends.
Our home was designed for its position is designed to be a comfortable place. We love it and are confident that others would too.

Our Location:
Gerringong, New South Wales. Our home is about two hours south of central Sydney, thirty minutes south of Wollongong, and twenty minutes north of Nowra. Our neighboring towns are Kiama and Berry. Gerringong is a seaside community of about 4,000 people. It has a good shopping centre a large supermarket and services such as doctors, physios, dentist etc. The town is situated on the narrow Shoalhaven coastal plain with beaches on the eastern side and the hills of the Great Dividing Range on the western side.

Activities:
We are situated just 600 metres from the beach. It takes five minutes to walk. Our nearest beach is called Werri Beach and is a popular surfing and swimming beach. Each year it is home to several surfing carnivals. We also have two beachside swimming pools. Just to the south there is Seven Mile Beach which is a popular holiday area. Jervis Bay is about 45 minutes south and is another beautiful coastal area with tropical type white sandy beaches. We are on the southern railway to Sydney and there are several trains daily at moderate cost. Canberra the nation?s capital is 240 km away and takes three hours by car. Gerringong is a great centre to discover a range of Australia environments, from the coast to the mountains. For active people there are great spots for walking, swimming, surfing and boating. The weather is good all the year round to enjoy these things. Summer is from December to March and is generally sunny and warm. Average summer temperatures range from a maximum 20c -30c . Winter is June to September when temperatures range from a maximum 15c ? 22c. This is also a good time to explore the area though the days are shorter.
