Lovely 5 Bed home in Boat Lagoon, Thailand

Sino Portugese style 5 bedroom villa with 18 metre pool in beautiful Phuket. Our home was completed in December 2005. It is set within the Boat Lagoon Marina and is surrounded on three sides by communal tropical landscaped gardens which the kids can explore. Outside there is a garden where kids play fort, an 18 metre freeform pool with slide, and a separate jacuzzi with bar stools for sundowners. There is a double garage and washing area outside the kitchen with washer, dryer and sink.

Inside, downstairs, is a large dining kitchen with every appliance you could wish for. This opens on two sides to decks. There is a huge dining hall which opens to the jacuzzi deck. A separate quiet lounge for grown ups overlooking the pool, a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a powder room, and a corridoor leading to the pool. Upstairs is a large family room with a balcony. The kids can use this room to play or watch tv etc. There is a second master suite with bathroom, two smaller en-suite bedrooms one with a balcony, these have a full single bed and a sofa bed, and one further single en-suite bedroom. There is also an office with 2 desks and broadband internet line.
There is purified drinking water on tap.

Phuket is the largest island in Thailand and is a mixture of hills, jungle, rubber and pineapple plantations, and many beautiful beaches, some secluded some not. There is lively nightlife if required. There are excellent restaurants ranging from 5 star to indigenous. It is very easy to choose a lifestyle for your stay either relaxed or active, and prices for everything are cheap (even cheaper if you like bargaining).

Activities include superb diving and snorkelling; sailing; golf, with five championship courses. Boat trips to many interesting places such as the Pee Pee islands, Similan islands, Rae Lay and Ao Nang in Krabi province, and the more local islands. You can go elephant trecking, go kart racing, off roading, water skiing and wake boarding etc.

Phuket has fully recovered from the Tsunami and is desperate for visitors to return.

The Boat Lagoon is one of Phuket's best kept secrets. As soon as you drive in the entrance there is a feeling of tropical relaxation and peace, but at the same time it is very central within Phuket with access to many beaches within 20 minutes drive. All the golf courses can be reached within 10 to 20 minutes. The major supermarkets and malls are 10 minutes away. It is a very attractive marina and the centre and starting point for many speed boat trips for diving and snorkling etc, also for sailing if you are a sailor. There are two tennis courts. It has 24 hour security, mains water, a bank and ATM's, several relaxed restaurants ranging from a bakery to Italian to 5 star cuisine. There is a small supermarket and an inexpensive laundry (who include the ironing as well). It is a terrific centre for exploring Phuket and the surrounding area.
