15 miles from the M6 and Carlisle, 2 hours to Edinburgh or Glasgow, 45 minutes Newcastle, 35 minutes to Hadrian's Wall and Roman forts, 1 hour to Lake District. Award winning restaurant within 10 minutes, local 'characterful' pubs within short drive.
