We have a 17 year old, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom spacious detached bungalow plus conservatory, in a village, 7 miles from Skipton on the southern edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Great for walking, and all aspects of outdoor life, 2 bicycles can be used to explore the area. The Leeds-Liverpool Canal runs through the village. In the village there are 2 Crown green bowling clubs, 1 golf club ( 4 more within 8 miles), various restaurants and takeways (Italian, Thai, English, Chinese). Bridge Clubs within 7 miles.

Nearest city is Leeds 20 miles away. Haworth (Bronte Country) 7 miles, while York is 35 (full of ancient history), Harrogate a spa town is 18, and Ilkley 7 (lovely walk over the hills, return by bus). The Lake District is easily accesssible, the East coast (Whitby, Scarborough) is approx. two and a half hours away and the west coast (Blackpool, St Annes) one and a half hours by car.
